Mountain Lodge surprises with first impressions – how could such a grand log lodge be so close
and convenient to Gatlinburg? How could anyone how found such a quiet and wooded neighborhood to build such a masterpiece of large floor spaces, top of the line bamboo hardwood flooring, and pampering, sumptuous furnishings?

Within the city limits of Gatlinburg, Mountain Lodge is accessed on a gently sloping drive onto
a large, level paved entrance parking area at the rear of the home. Only three steps takes guests up to the main level entrance, which opens to a huge, ten foot wide entrance hall with a very convenient half bath, and two walk in closets. Even before entering the lodge, you will notice the extra care put into the accommodations, as a huge, double sided Chefs and Bakers stainless gas grill sits ready to easily prepare the entrees for large numbers of guests.

Upon stepping into the entrance hallway, our guests are greeted impressively with a huge, vaulted ceiling living room featuring a massive, twenty foot, stone gas logs fireplace and a glass and beam wall overlooking a perfectly lovely, forested scene. The massive wrap around, sectional distressed leather sofas invite you to come and relax, and the 43 inch flat screen TV / DVD offers entertainment.

The dining table is a dark oak table with 12 dark oak and iron seats. Additional seating for 4 is offered along the outer kitchen counter. Black Maytag appliances, double sinks, and
Quartz counter tops make up the kitchen, which has beautiful elm hardwood cabinetry. And for outdoor dining, there’s the wrought iron table and 6 wrought iron chairs on the main east deck, again with the wooded setting, and also covered from the weather.

Just around the corner of the kitchen, a large laundry room features Maytag appliances and
plenty of room for sorting , folding, and hanging. There may not be a more convenient layout for any home than to have the laundry room close to the kitchen, so that meal preparation and monitoring the clothes washing can easily be accomplished together.

The main floor bedroom across from the dining and kitchen areas has a king oak bed with 9 drawer chest, 2 lamp chests, 4 drawer armoire, walk in closet and a spacious bath with a double sink, shower, and a whirlpool tub. The 20 inch flat screen TV provides private entertainment.

Up the 4 foot wide staircase, a vaulted loft area in natural log and tongue in groove construction has a large wrap around mocha microfiber sofa, part of which is a queen sleeper sofa.

The vaulted east upper bedroom is an oak and iron ensemble with queen bed, 3 drawer armoire, 2 lamp chests, olive microfiber queen sleeper sofa, walk in closet and spacious shower tub bath.

The vaulted upper west bedroom is a king oak sleigh bed with 2 lamp chests, 9 drawer chest, 4 drawer armoire, 19 inch flat screen TV, tan microfiber queen sleeper sofa, and ottoman. This bedroom also accommodates graciously with a large walk in closet and spacious shower tub bath.

The lower level of Mountain Lodge is also welcoming, spacious, and warm. A large game room occupies the center of the lower level, full size tournament pool table, 2 pub tables and chairs, and 31 inch flat screen TV / DVD. the two leather queen sleeper sofas make for the most comfortable relaxing and watching the games, as well as providing sleeping capacity for this lovely vacation home in the heart of Gatlinburg, Tennessee.

The east lower bedroom is a beautiful dark oak and iron queen bed ensemble with lamp chest, 4 drawer armoire with 19 inch flat screen TV / DVD, 7 drawer chest, and large shower tub bath.
There’s also a private, covered deck overlooking the trees, complete with a picnic table!

The west side lower bedroom is another dark oak and iron king bed with 2 lamp chests, 7 drawer chest, and a spacious shower tub bath. Out from this bedroom is another private covered deck
with huge, 8 person hot tub bubbling away.
