Just fifteen minutes from Pigeon Forge, Naughty Bear
features screened decks both front and rear that provide you
with a covered and protected space from which to enjoy the
marvelous peace and quiet of true seclusion in the Great
Smoky Mountains.
Only 4 steps take you up to the floor level of this cabin,
which very conveniently is all on
one level. No climbing steps back and forth to the various
bedrooms, games, dining, and
decks ! The front screened deck features both rocking chairs
and deck swing, and makes for an inviting entrance to the
great room.
First greeting our guests in the Naughty Bear great room is
the billiards table, offering great fun before a stone
fireplace adding warmth and atmosphere.
Also with a close view of the stone fireplace is the dining
table, seating 6. The kitchen of Naughty Bear comes fully
equipped with dishwasher, microwave, toaster, as well as a
full set of dining ware. With the kitchen right behind the
dining table, serving your guests requires very few steps,
and the meal preparers can easily engage in conversation and
watch the gaming fun while the meal is being readied.
Across from the kitchen are two of the queen log bedrooms,
sharing a bath. In most of the warm season, the air is so
comfortable here on Bear Mountain that you will want to
leave
Your windows open to catch the fresh air and the scent of
wildflowers that dot the forest
with splashes of color until fall, when the leaves take on a
riotous quilt of oranges, yellows, and reddish purples.
Just beyond the great room is the spacious and comfortable
living / den, with a very comfortable queen sleeper sofa,
two easy chairs, and an upholstered den chair. For added
warmth and atmosphere, there’s also a fireplace in this den.
Just to the left of the den is a third queen log bedroom,
with its own bath.
But the best is yet to come. The back deck, accessed via the
den, is a screened in retreat that features a large hot tub
that looks out over absolutely unspoiled wilderness. You
will be transported to a time a place that you will want to
return to again and again. Along with the hot tub, the back
deck offers rocking chairs and even a picnic table to make
the most of your private view of the Smokies forest.
