Papa Bears Den stands majestically on Ski Mountain in Gatlinburg, and is part of the renowned Chalet Village area. This cabin has access to nearby pools and tennis courts and is only minutes from both Ober Gatlinburg, with exciting snow skiing, ice skating and shopping, and all the entertainment of downtown Gatlinburg!

When you enter this amazing three story log cabin, you’ll start your journey walking onto the bottom deck. Here you’ll find comfy rockers perfect for sitting back and taking in the SPECTACULAR view or you can even wave at the folks inside as the tram passes by. Walking inside you’ll find 2 bedrooms, the first has a KING bed, the second has three sets of Twin over Queen Bunk Beds. Both bedrooms feature a chest of drawers and the second even has a 20” TV with DVD/VCR. Heading up the stairs you’ll enter the magnificent Main Room with houses the Living room, Dining room, and Kitchen. Looking up you’ll see a staggering cathedral ceiling and the back wall has plenty of windows allowing you to take in the view. In the living room you’ll enjoy the Riverstone Gas FIREPLACE, the soft sleeper sofa, and the 32” TV with DVD/VCR.  In the kitchen/dining room you’ll find plenty of seats at the large table with 7 chairs, and extra seating is available with the 3 stools at the bar. The kitchen is fully stocked with Refrigerator, Stove, Microwave, Coffeemaker, and much more! There’s a door that leads to the upper deck, which features rockers, a table, and a charcoal grill. The deck turns around the corner and there you’ll find a large HOT TUB and stairs leading to a small yard in the back of the cabin.

Back inside, the main level features 2 bedrooms, the first has a queen bed, 19” TV with DVD/VCR, and chest of drawers. There is also a laundry closet with a FULL SIZED WASHER AND DRYER.  The second bedroom is the MASTER and features a giant KING bed, a gas FIREPLACE, large JACUZZI TUB, 19” TV with DVD/VCR, and a private door out to the deck and the HOT TUB.  In between the two bedrooms is the first of two baths, this one has a double vanity, and standard bathtub with shower.

Once we move upstairs it’s time for FUN! The upper loft is all wood, and a full GAME ROOM! You’ll find a WET BAR, including mini-refrigerator and sink, a full size POOL TABLE, AIR HOCKEY, Electronic DARTS, FOOSBALL, small Boombox, and a wall mounted 19” TV with DVD/VCR. There is also a full bath on the upstairs level as well.

If you’re looking for an amazing place to spend the perfect Smoky Mountain Vacation, you don’t have to look far, but you might want to look up, right up the mountain to the “big daddy”, Papa Bears Den.
