  • Amenities

Amenities may differ from cabin to cabin however all of our cabins will  have basic amenities that are considered luxury amenities ranging from indoor private swimming pools to hot tubs. Please make sure and ask your reservationist what amenities your cabin is equipped with.

  • Cancellation Policy:

We understand that there may be times when you may need to cancel or reschedule your visit with us. Our cancellation policy is as follows:

  • 30 Days prior to the date you are due in you will receive all deposit's back minus $35.00 plus tax.

  • As of 1-1-07 all cancellations will result in a full loss of your deposit if you choose not to reschedule.

  • All sales are final.          

 

Deposits on Cabins:

When booking a cabin we require half of the subtotal before taxes at the time of booking on any major credit card. Please call one of our reservationists to discuss other payment methods.

 

 

 

  • Processing Fee:

There is a 35.00 non refundable processing fee added to your reservation.

 

 

  • Pet Fee:

On Pet friendly cabins there will be a non-refundable $75.00 per pet fee charged. All pets must be crated at all times when unattended in the cabin. This is to ensure all cabins are properly cleaned before the next guest arrives and extra measures are always taken to ensure that no trace is left once the pet leaves the cabin.

 

  • Group Arrivals:

All parties should do their best to arrive at the same time. We do understand that there may be delays when parties are coming from different states however state law prohibits us from allowing any guests into the cabin prior to the guest who reserved the cabin arriving with proper identification. Please make arrangements prior to arrival to meet before hand.

 

 

 

  • Telephone and Internet Services:

All cabins are supplied with local phone services, some and these will be noted are supplied with free nationwide long distance services as well. Most of our cabins have internet services and the ones that do will be noted, some also have wireless internet services. It is not in our power to ensure service is always available during your stay even though we will do our very best to make sure that if your cabin does supply internet access that you will have it available during your stay. All guest are welcome to use the internet services at our office to check email and send messages.

 

 

  • Lost and Found Items:

All lost and found items are placed in our office for a period of 30 days. We are not responsible for items left in the cabin after your departure, however if items are found they are logged and placed in our hold bin for the 30 day period and will be shipped to you by request for whatever shipping cost may be.

 

 

Privacy Policy:

We respect and are committed to protecting your privacy. We may collect personally identifiable information when you visit our site. We also automatically receive and record information on our server logs from your browser including your ip address, cookie information and the pages you visited. We will not sell your personally identifiable information to anyone.

 

  • Disclaimer

Even though we do our very best to be sure all of our cabin descriptions are accurate at times mistakes are made. We are not responsible if items have been removed from cabins or if items have been broken. No refunds will be given if web information differs from information given by our reservationists. We are also not responsible for cabins that have been removed from the program, we will either meet your cabin reservation with a cabin with equal value or replace it with a cabin with greater value.

 

 

  • Reservations:

You may reserve your cabin online via our online booking engine or for the best rates you can call our reservation department and speak with a reservationist. At the time of reservation a deposit of 50% of the total rental cost is required.

 

 

  • Cabin Furnishings:

All of our cabins are luxuriously appointed and have at least one fireplace. Our cabins come with a basic list of furnished items, these items are as follows but not limited too: dishes, pots and pans, coffee maker, stove, microwave, dishwasher, hot tub, towels, wash clothes, hand towels, dish rags, drying towels, sheets, pillow cases, pillows, comforters or quilts, blankets for pull outs, starter coffee, starter laundry detergent and dish washing detergent, starter dish washing tablets, silverware, glasses and coffee cups, wine glasses. Fire extinguishers, TV's DVD and or VCR's, alarm clocks, irons and ironing boards, basic paper good needs. Holiday decorations are owner maintained and are not a required feature of our company.

 

 

 

  • Check In and Check Out Times:

Check in time is between 4 PM and 8PM on the day of check in.

Check out time is 11 AM there are no exceptions and Anyone staying in the cabin after 11 AM will be charged a minimum fee of $20.00. We want all of our guests to enjoy their stay with us, we need ample time to clean and prepare the cabin for the next guest and ask that you honor our policy concerning this. There are no refunds for early departures. On the day of check in you may call to get an estimated time that your cabin will be available.

 

 

 

  • Resorts and Capacity Limits:

Our resorts and cabins are made for having fun and for large groups, however there are limits to this. We do request that even though we do not charge a per guest fee that you let us know how many guest will be staying each cabin or lodge so that your party does not exceed resort restrictions. We would also like to take this time to make you aware of resort rules for noise and parties, if excessive noise or excessively large parties occur you may be asked to leave by resort security after being asked once to quite down or to follow cabin limit restrictions.

 

 

  • Utility Services:

Hickory Mist can not control acts of God and therefore can not be held liable if the power goes out during your stay due to such occurrences. Of course we will as always do our very best to ensure this never happens.

 

  • Check In/Check Out Inspections:

All cabins and hot tubs are inspected upon check out of each guest and before check in of each guest. This is done to maintain a certain level of quality control as well as health and security measures for our guests and homeowners.

 

 

Security Policy:

Your payment and personal information are always safe. Our secure sockets layer software is the industry standard and among the best software available today for secure commerce transactions. It encrypts all of your personal information, including credit card number, name, and address, so that it cannot be read over the internet.
